"This Isn't Watch Me Grow, This Is Watch Me Lose!"

It took me 5 years to get serious & motivated. I can't express just how pumped I am to watch the inches shed. I've started my own personal weightloss diary and I'm taking pictures. I want to lose 60 pounds. Right now I've lost 10 inches in two weeks, I will remeasure this Thursday, August 23rd. I'm kind of nervous but I find it easier for myself to measure instead of weighing in. I would love to share how much I weigh but I myself am very embaressed and not comfortable sharing until I really start shedding the inches off, then I will share my photos. I love reading all of your motivated posts and this site has really inspired me. I'm looking for new friends along my journey to help me meet my goal. So if you're interested please add me. This isn't the years of "watch me grow anymore, it's watch me lose!"

I can totally understand being embarrassed about your weight, but I have learned that MFP is a no judgement zone and have felt quite comfortable disclosing weight info. However this is your journey and you are doing great already. Congrats on the 10inch loss and I know you will be 60lbs down soon enough. Also dont let the scale discourage you. Sometimes when you workout and eat right you tend to reach your goal body before your goal weight. (i.e I went from a size 16 to a size 14 at 195 and the last time I was a 14 i was 10lbs lighter). My goal is to be a size 8/10. SO if I dont reach my goal size before my goal weight I will be too happy :-). Good luck on your journey0 -
