2 cups of frozen peas is 210 Cal! Really? Im confused why so much??

  • It is alot of peas.. but its pretty much all I could find that was quick to take with me today with my 3oz of leftover steak.

    NOT a bad choice. Just keep track of the calories. LOTS of nutrition there... LOTS.

    And about 40g of carbohydrates....that's almost what I am allowed in an entire meal! And why I rarely eat them anymore.

    It's cuz peas are a starchy vegetable like corn or potatoes. They contain a decent amount of carbs which means calories :)

    Peas are always a little more than I expect... Also corn, obviously. Next time go for frozen broccoli cuts~ I've had so many steamed brussels sprouts and asparagus spears, I forgot how GOOD boiled, drained broccoli cuts with a slice of super processed cheese mixed in was. Hahaha. :) Worth it.
