Has anyone else heard of these? I saw them mentioned in a health magazine. Its like a deck of cards with workouts on them and you like shuffle and pick out so many for your day.

Anyone else done this? Made some? Bought some?

I've heard of it but never seen them. They sound like fun, but scary at the same time haha. I bet it would be good on those days where you just feel blah like your workout routine is the same old same old just to shake things up.

someone stated he used a normal deck of playing cards, each suite had an exercise... the face value was the number of the exercise needed to complete. He left the jokers in as a double threat... if someone drew the joker it would be double what the next number drew would be. He and a friend made a game out of it, they would go until one just couldn't anymore.

Doubt this is what you mean, but it is an idea

Yeah I heard of this. The number on the card is how many reps you do per set, depending on the workout. Make your own it will be personalized and will help you get over that plateau or boredom (whatever the problem is)

I think I might try to dig up some index cards and make my own!
Any ideas for what to put on them? I want them to be challenging since I am still beginning my journey.

I've seen this - or something similiar anyway. My sister in law used to use these cards that she ripped out of a magazine, I think there were seven so she'd pick one for a workout. I think it would be a great idea! I will have to incorporate it, a good way to do something new everyday. I think I'll get a deck of cards and put the workouts on there...then I can change it up anytime. Thanks for the idea OP!

My sister taught this to me when she was in the military. You use a normal deck of cards, hearts=squats, spades=pushups, diamonds=dips, and clubs=lunges, or whatever excercise you choose each suit to represent. Then if you pull a 5 of spades, you do 5 pushups. It was fun when my sister and I used to do this. Have fun and good luck.

It's all fun and games until you pick deadlifts 3 days in a row and then you spontaneously combust.

    Thank you.

    FITDECK...I love mine!!!!
    ,

I have 'Pilates' deck and the 'core body strength' deck.

They are one of th only things that keep me motivated to work out daily,
    '
I have made 2 decks. One for MWF and one for T-TH-S. one ow more lower body, the other more upper body- with whole body stuff for warmups.

I,love that they are different everyday. I get bored so easily and distracted... So I shuffle my deck and either deal myself "15” cards at once or flip them over one at a time. There are cards that say 'repeat' or 'skip' or whatever, to add to the randomness

I bought the entire line of FitDeck cards.

They work if you use them.
