I have finally hit a year! And i can not tell you how drastically my life has changed. I went from that 310 lb girl with no hope of living a fulfilling life to a 190 lb girl ready to take on the world. I wanted to post to not only share my success but to give encouragement. I have struggled for so long like many others and trust me it does not really get easier. But i do promise your life will change forever!!! Look how mine has :)

    Every time I see one of these success stories I want to ask, How did you do it? What sort of exercise did you do? Did you do low fat/low carb/etc ?

    Hey Turkey Wings!! High protein, low carb and LOTS of running. For the first 8 months or so i worked out 6 days a weeks hard core. Also, i never went over my calories. Its all about portion control and eating within your limit. Now adays i d let myself cheat a little more but after so long you have to let yourself sometimes or you will go insane. If you ever need any help let me know, i am always here :)

    Thanks for the tips. I realize that I have the body that needs to stay low carb, but I always fall off the wagon. I need to finally be serious (after trying since elementary school) and do what you have done. I want a success story of my own :)
