Lol, that only ever happened to me when I was pregnant. And, no, I'm not trying to say you're pregnant.

I love tuna, and it's quite healthy, just wish I could do away w/ the heartburn, lol!

HAHA!!! I would be more worried about being pregnant if I STOPPED getting heart burn since the only time I can remember being with out it was when I was pregnant.

Can't you just take an antacid before you eat it? Defo not medical advice but it's what I'd do lol :)

Giant bottles of Walmart brand tums are my best friend.

I always thought onions gave me heartburn, but since I stopped drinking tea or coffee the heartburn has stopped.

This might sound gross, but if you drink plain sparkling water (you may have a different name for it in the US) after you eat tuna it makes you burp a little and sometimes that's enough to stop the heartburn. If you get heartburn from a lot of food you should probably look into why - get a gastroscopy.

First, I would suggest trying a different brand, maybe? And my "second" was going to say about what else you might be (or not be) eating with it...but I'm a total slacker and can't manage to remember, when I go back and forth, from your diary to here ~lame chuckle~.

I love tuna, but only with mayo...and by mayo, I mean a fair amount of mayo...which would totally blow my "fat allowances" for the day ~sad chuckle~.

    Good luck!
