Here is a good story.......

As I showed up at the Clarksville Greenway this morning to go for a short, 3 mile run, I saw a guy in a wheelchair with one leg putting his prostetic leg on and getting ready to put his wheel chair in his trunk. I noticed he was wearing a Vietnam Veteran hat so I had to stop by and say hi. After talking to him for a bit, I discovered not only did he do two tours in Vietnam (losing his leg to a landmine on the second tour) but he wheelchairs himself 4 miles 5 days a week to stay in shape!
At the end of our short conversation he said, " I wouldn't change a thing because losing my leg made me who I am today".
So for those of you that think things are too hard and you just wanna quit just think there is a guy every weekday morning pushing himself 4 miles in a wheelchair..........

That IS a great story! When I have very little motivation to exercise, I tell myself "Use it or lose it!" and think of the people who can't exercise or workout because of a disability. Really gets me moving.0

Or think about this guy, Terry Fox. Ran half way across Canada averaging 37km a day, he had cancer and only 1 leg and did it all on 1980 running shoe technology. If he doesn't inspire you I have no idea what will. There is literally no excuse other than being too lazy or not having the will power.0
