Artic Zero Ice Cream

I ordered it from Amazon after really liking the hand scoop at my local HEB. Unfortunately, the prepackaged tasted poorly and Icey. Just like you would expect really low calorie to taste. blgggg. The hand scoop stuff was like real ice-cream in texture and flavor which is why I suspect maybe the hand scoop is different nutrition wise than the advertised pint I got via amazon.
Just saying.... If it's too good to be true, usually it is. hahaha. I am just remembering a Seinfield episode where the latte was "diet" or something like that. too funny.
Mircrowave it for 30 seconds and then really, really stir it for several minutes. I promise, it will end up the consistency of a wendy's frosty. I wasn't impressed until I learned how to serve it that way- now I love it! Emily, my store doesn't carry pumpkin either. I'd love to try that one! They only have vanilla maple, chocolate, coffee, chocolate peanut butter, mint chocolate cookie, strawberry, and cookies n' cream. I only really like the vanilla maple, cookies n'cream, and chocolate peanut butter.0 -
Whole Foods carries them I've heard0

Just had to bump this cause its GREAT stuff. I have the chocolate peanut butter flavor0

And has up to 68% more calories than what's on the label -- just an FYI.0

I randomly discovered this about two weeks ago. I live by a ghetto Kroger's that never has ANYTHING unique (I have to drive to the more affluent part of town to buy things like Boar's Head pickle spears or Boathouse Farms yogurt ranch dressing), so I wasn't surprised that my Kroger had absolutely NO frozen yogurt in their freezer section. But I DID come across two flavors of this Arctic Zero, cookies and cream and mint chocolate cookie. It was kind of expensive, but after looking at the label, I decided to take a gamble. Man, this stuff is good! I am still waiting for the other shoe to drop, it seems too good to be true. It's even better than the Weight Watcher's 45 calorie fudgesicles, and I really like those.
Honestly, after reading this thread and everyone saying it's so hard to find, I'm really surprised my Kroger had it. My Kroger doesn't even reliably have organic meat.0 -

Hey guys, here's the report to back up the 68% more calorie claim ... sad but true0 -
I thought the calorie discrepancy was because you supposedly couldn't digest and assimilate all of the calories in it so they don't count. I used to really like the stuff but it started disagreeing with me digestionally. It's probably for the best.0

This talk of an additional 68% freaked me out, but in the article someone linked, this paragraph put it into perspective for me:The lofty percentage numbers make the implications for Arctic Zero overblown. Realistically we’re talking about a discrepancy of 50-100 calories for an ENTIRE PINT. You shouldn’t be eating an entire pint in one sitting anyway.0

Yes it does. I was tempted to try it until I read that the other day. I will stay far far away.

"Three of the products actually had fewer calories than the label claimed: the Skinny Cow Cookies n' Cream Truffle Bar, Stonyfield Minty Chocolate Chip Frozen Yogurt, and Ben & Jerry's Fro-Yo Half-Baked. Two others had a bit more calories, but were within 10 percent of the label: Ben & Jerry's Fro-Yo Chocolate Fudge Brownie and Stonyfield's Creme Caramel Frozen Yogurt."
"Our sample of Arctic Zero Vanilla Maple had a whopping 46 percent more calories than the label. The Chocolate Peanut Butter: an incredible 68 percent more calories."0 -
I love me a frozen treat. Will check it out.0

I have heard of this but can't find it where I live......0

I was just about to post what the posted a few above did - that MSNBC tested this for the calorie count and it has 46% - 68% more calories than stated.

Ok...very excited to hear there is a Pumpkin Flavor!
I agree with some of the other posters...while I am upset that they can be so far off in their calorie claims, even 252 calories for a whole pint isn't too bad. I can't eat the whole thing at once as it is so I don't think it will make a difference.
Around me, Whole Foods and Publix Greenwise seems to have a good selection of flavors.0
