Anything like what we see in films??
As a Brit I have often wondered what college is like in the US and if it is anything like the comedy films we see?
If so, it looks like such a laugh!
Ahh my University days :drinker:  :smokin: :blushing:
I would love to hear some of your stories!!

Depends on the school, there are quite a few party schools in the U.S. There are also several very strict schools.
Most of the party schools are state schools (for example, University of California, Santa Barbara). The strict schools are private schools. My best friend is going to a very strict christian based private school in Southern California. Everyone has to live on campus, no drinking, Freshmen aren't allowed to have cars, etc. My brother went to a college owned by the Mormon church (Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah). There you have to sign the "honour code". You cannot drink, do drugs, have sex, etc. If you do, you automatically get expelled.
Not all Americans are as "loose" and wild as portrayed in the media and film industry. haha0 -

Wow, sounds really strict!
I went to a private boarding school in England (think Harry Potter but without any magic) and it was insanely strict and very old fashioned. I was pretty young when I went there so I didn't miss much
Thanks for the insight!0 -
