Hi. Do I have a high metabolism if I eat a lot but don't gain weight, after I eat I get hungry again after 1-2 hours, and every morning I wake up starving and I have to eat a big breakfast?

The only way to really tell is to have it tested. The hungry point you make is not necessarily indicative of how fast/slow someones metabolism is as it can get messed up by hormonal imbalances.
ETA: what are you trying to find out for specifically? Also, I checked your diary - you are not eating a lot at the moment so I am a little confused.0 -
Sounds like a high metabolism to me...enjoy it while you've got it! Hopefully that will be a lot of years!0

It might be that you're hungry because you aren't eating very much.0

Depends what you mean by "a lot". Most people probably wouldn't consider 1,300 calories (for example) a lot.0

I think you may not be eating enough and that's why you're always hungry. If you think eating half a cut of cereal is a big breakfast then I say you may have issues. What is your TDEE?0 -
You have some distorted ideas about what normal eating is like if you honestly think that you're eating a lot. You're not, not even close. In fact, I'd starve if I ate that way and I'm only 4'11. Yes everyone is different but not gaining on what you eat would be expected!!0

When I said that I eat a lot, I meant before I started using MFP. I'm pretty sure that before I was eating more than 1,300 calories. I do have a habit of eating when I'm bored but now I've been more aware of my calories, I stopped doing that. Thanks for the feedback anyway though0
