What brand do you usually buy? How many calories do they have in 1 serving?

As long as it has no salt added any brand of raw almonds is good. As for cals I go by what MFP says... theres a couple choices.. they are good for little snacks or to bump up your cals. They are extremely good for you. When I have them I try to keep my servings at 12-26 almonds a shot lol.. Like mid-afternoon snack with a fruit or mid-luch with a fruit or veggie. Or right after a workout. Mmmm

I buy almonds in bulk, usually when they're on sale for $3.99 per pound. And the serving size is entirely up to you, the place that I buy mine in bulk from has the nutrition info on the bulk bin, so I entered that info, using the grams, into MFP to use and then just measure out portions based on that particular day or mood. But I usually fit in a 100-150 calorie serving of almonds each day as almonds and the avocado I put in my morning eggs are my main sources of fat each day.

I've been eating from a big bag of Daily Chef whole almonds - bought it on the cheap at Sam's Club. Each serving is 27g and has 150 calories. I usually pair them with some raisins for an afternoon snack. You should be good with any brand though - just make sure they're not salted. Calories and all should be roughly the same no matter who you buy.

They run about 160-165 calories per ounce (28g).

I don't buy them raw- I really prefer them salted.
