1984 - George Orwell. I found it to be a pretty powerful book.

    Too many to name! :)

I am a huge fan of classical and medieval lit (Chaucer, Homer, Virgil, Sophocles, etc). My all-time favorite classic novels are A Tale of Two Cities, Wuthering Heights, and The Count of Monte Cristo. Though it's probably not considered a classic by most, Til We Have Faces (C.S. Lewis) is also a favorite of mine.

When it comes to plays, I adore the works of Shakespeare, Ibsen, and Miller.
