So I am attending a wedding tomorrow and was wondering what you all do when you go someplace, I won't be bringing my scale & measuring cups. Any good tips for estimating on your food? I have been very carefully measuring my food when ever possible and only estimated a few times since I started and it has payed off to this point. So basically just looking for tips on estimating in a more accurate way.

Any protein, eat a portion that's approximately the size of your palm. Probably makes four or five ounces. Less if it's red meat. Also, eat as much vegetables as you want, to fill you up.

Also, try to avoid alcohol - it'll perk your appetite AND lower your inhibitions, making you want more to indulge!!

Take a photo of it... do it later.

Enjoy the wedding. Eat what's on offer and don't be a picky nightmare guest. Have a bowl of vegetable soup before you go so you aren't starving and avoid any finger food type things.
