any one else watching Isaac??

I'm in the Pensacola, Fl area. It's not looking good for us. I'm in full prepare mode today- picking up the yard, filling gas cans, packing up my pictures. Dreading I will get called in to my hospital for the duration of the storm. I was there for the last two storms and it was one of the worst experiences of my life. Please send prayers that this storm will weaken quickly.

I went through all of that in P.R. a couple of days ago. By luck, nothing happened! But Its still better to be prepared and nothing happen rather than not being prepared.

never experienced a tropical storm. I do plan on moving to Florida in two years, somewhere around Tampa, so I will be interested to see how things go for all down there. Be safe.

I'm on Marco Island (near Naples on the Gulf side) they have ordered a 'voluntary' evacuation of the island so far for us but we will stay until they make it mandatory. Im in a condo on the 4th floor on the water. Ive got the hurricane shutters down on the lanai but there are none for the windows so now I just wait and watch! :glasses:

Anyone else in Issacs path? Getting windy here!!
  • I think Pensacola has seen the worst of the bands. I've heard reports of minor flooding and trees down, but no major damage anywhere. My hospital is scheduled to be fully operational today. Hope everyone else is staying safe and just praying this storms moves on quickly
