I also love this DVD. I'm kind of a Jillian Michaels addict. I really felt it in my arms and back.
I'm fitting Yoga Meltdown in with my 30DS.0 -
Would it be a good video for someone who has never done yoga before?0

I really like Yoga Meltdown but I loaned it to a friend; I asked for it back, but she's still looking for it. :frown:0 -
Yes, this is a real workout for me too! I could feel it in my shoulders and upper back the next day. I find the side planks (I think that's what they're called) to be a real challenge. I can definitely tell that my left arm is stronger than my right when I do this move. Doing my meltdown later today after laundry. Maybe follow it up with a shred tonight!0

You don't need to know yoga to do this video. She uses yoga poses but only as a means of body weight training. It is a great workout. Very challenging with no impact. I use it in between running days when I'm training for a 1/2 marathon and running 4 times a week and want to give my legs a break.0 -
I just did this for the first time today. I liked it. I was dripping with sweat!0

I'm thinking of starting this. I was doing 30 day shred - loved level 1 but found level 2 too tough. My arms were just too weak for all the plank based moves and I ended up injuring myself. Thought this could be a good alternative.0

I bought this dvd a while ago, then hurt the muscles in my back doing something from either 30ds, biggest loser, or something else. I may give this a try tomorrow since it is supposed to rain.0

Another question is, how do you log it? Yoga, circuit, cardio?0

Yoga Meltdown Is awesome! Definitely feel it in the arms/back more. A lot of her stuff is very leg-heavy imo. I have started to add this in every few days to my workouts0

I just started this DVD two days ago, and it totally kicked my *kitten*. I've already completed Jillian's 30 Day Shred, and am about 3 weeks into Ripped in 30, so I've grown used to circuit training, but holding these poses is killer! The Chaturanga push ups are especially difficult, since my arms need a lot more strength work.
I'm sticking with it, because it really works my arms well. I find that fat really likes to cling to my triceps (above all, this is my BIGGEST trouble area--I have a bit of a bat wing problem), and while her circuit training videos have helped slim my arms, I think this will really do the trick with toning them because so many of the poses work shoulders and triceps.
So if anyone is on the fence with this, I do highly recommend it! But it is a challenge (something you'll discover within the first 10 minutes), and it's something you have to stick with through the whole 30 minutes. It will make you very uncomfortable, but the feeling at the end is worth it.0 -

If I was to start one of the JM 30 shred or ripped in 30 which should I do first? Does/would it really matter? And should I do cardio and one of the DVD's. I am also going to try to do the yoga meltdown a couple times a week.0

OMG yes ! LOL
also I feel like she is in the room with me and I am suprised but happy with myself for not slacking off, I do have a 5 sec pause here & there
I think I will do yoga meltdown after 30DS and maybe rotate it with one of her other ones0 -
If I did this every day and some running or cycling would that be enough to lose some weight?0
