Day 2

Hello everyone. My husband and I just started MFP yesterday, so far so good. I have learned that I did not eat enough calories yesterday. I am sure I will have days of too many or not enough in the future. The trick for me will be balancing it all out. I see packed lunch/dinner in my future, now if I can only stay away from the cafeteria at work, I should be okay. Wish me luck everyone.

My daughter signed up today, we'll see which one of us meets out goal first.

  • Welcome to mfp. Its an awesome website I'm fairly new here I think it's great the family is working to loose weight competition is a good incentive to loose lbs. Just think of pounds as $$$ and you'll stay in your budget

    Thanks for the encouragement. Now that I have finished with my latest degree, I need to lose my college pounds. Every time I have enrolled in a college nursing programs (LVN, ADN, BSN) I have put on weight. I manage to lose some of it but food and I really love each other. So, time to commit to get fitter. I've got getting smarter down, and should I try for that insanely crazy Master's degree, I need to be at a healthy weight when I start.

    Thanks for the invite. I'll see if I can figure out the invite stuff. Lovely picture of you and your family. Any idea how to crop them to fit. I want to add mine but it does not fit well.
