Need a Routine - help?

I've been reading forums constantly about 'skinny fat' and reducing muscle loss etc. and after realising my mistake from it (and also from noting 'skinny fat' family members) I'm struggling to find a routine to be able to tone, because I have no equipment. I don't have weights, any machines, can't get access to the gym and can't do any jumping because of the floorboards. I can walk/run outside, but I want to add more instead of just cardio.

I don't suppose anyone has any ideas? I know it's a tall order but I'm determined to be fit, not just skinny. TIA.

Exercise bands. They are cheap. Light. Silent. You can work almost every muscle group with them.
Add a yoga mat for floor exercises, abs, what have you. You may need to look up how to use them.
But it's super easy. And if you drop one? You won't hurt your toe!

There are loads of body weight exercise plans - google it and find what works for you! A band helps as well!

Body weight exercises (think pushups, lunges, squats, and more). Exercise bands, kettle bells (and DVD), a medicine ball. All will help you workout at home. There are tons of DVDs out there.
  • Like all the above posters said....

    1) bodyweight exercises
    2) Interval training/sprint running

YouTube has a ton of videos. A MFP member has a blog with a bunch of links to YouTube videos of workouts that she has designed to do from home. Definitely worth checking out!

  • I use DVD programs and have been using a pair of dumbbells, resistant band, a yoga mat and just last week I got a pullup bar for the doorway which I'm loving!!
