Hi all. My name is Monica. I am a young, recent college grad at the ripe old age of 24. I am trying to lose about 120 lbs and get to my goal weight of 140/150. It seems like a long way to go, but the way I figure it, it should only take a little over a year! My reason for doing this is I am just tired of being fat. I don't feel embarrassed to be overweight, nor do I feel like I am being picked on about it. I am just simply tired of feeling so blah all the time. Hopefully I can do it!

Hi Monica/All,
I'm new to this, too. I'm a 29 year old graduate student. I've gained 100 lbs over the past few years that I am sick and tired of carrying around. I'm too young to settle for this. I had an injury last October (broke both ankles) and am working on finding balance between taking care if my ongoing injury and getting a good workout in.
I'd love to find a support group on here. I've lost weight in the past and having a support group is one of the best ways to do it!
