Because I have trouble incorporating enough protein in my diet I decided to add a protein shake after my workout in the morning. The stuff I bought though is soooo nasty tasting when mixed with just water! Because I have a homemade cafe au lait each day anyway, I decided to use the ingredients for that to make a really yummy tasting frappucino-like protein shake.
I would like to share the recipe with you, because I figure I can't be the only one with bad tasting protein powder ;-)

Frappucino protein shake:

0.5 cup / 125 ml cold coffee (I make the coffee before starting the workout, it has cooled enough by the time I'm finished)
1 cup / 250 ml cold milk
Protein powder (I used 20 g of De Tuinen Soja Proteine for 18 g of protein).

Mix coffee and milk, add the protein powder and shake. Add water to bring the shake to the desired consistency.
Using this particular amount and brand of protein with 1.6% milk (halfvol) gives a total of 139 kcal.

I've just discovered pea protein (here in the UK from a company called Pulsin'). It's 80% protein, so not as high as whey, but because it has a savoury taste it's great for adding to soups.

Otherwise, I just use Maximuscle high protein compounds. They're expensive but for the taste, they're adequate (especially if you use milk, I use water).

    Thanks for the recipe anyhow!

Mixing different flavors and different brands of powder helps too. You can also add peanut butter to a protein shake to add dome flavor
