Ok, I really wasnt sure where to post this but is anybody else nursing while following MFP? How do you adjust your calories to accomadate breastfeeding or do you stick to 1200 cals a day? Just curious cause I originally let MFP set the cal intake for me but today I changed it to 1200 cals a day. I'm wondering if it's ok to eat only 1200 calories a day while breastfeeding and exercising?

My friend is breatfeeding and she told me that women burn 300 - 500 calories a day breastfeeding. Therefore, you should be getting at least 1500 - 1700 calories a day in order to be taking in enough calories to keep you and your baby healthy!0
