Nike+

Hi,

In my running shoes I have a nike+ thing, but I'm not 100% sure how it works or how I can use it, so really looking for some advice on that :)

Oh and my running shoes are a few years old (have sat in the cupboard unused mostly!) if that makes any difference

Thanks

I use Nike+running. It basically just keeps a log of all of your runs. It syncs up to path as well. I have friends on Nike running but I believe you have to have Facebook to fully engage. I dont do Facebook so I just use it to time my runs, track pace and beat personal bests.

Yes, I know you can use it to track runs, my question actually is how do I get it to work? I assume I need to get it to transmit information somehow, at the moment it's just something in the bottom of my shoe!

Oh! I'm so sorry, I didn't understand then. I use to use the Nike thing that you put in the shoe. I had to sync it to my iPhone app. Now they have a new app where you no longer need the pedometer for the shoe. The app just does it. There should be a button on the device and then you just go to the app and sync.

    Maybe these links will help.

    Good luck.

I use an iPod with the Nike+/Startrac equipment at gym. I find the Nike+ app on my phone disappointing, it has failed to record 2 particularly long runs. Endomondo never lets me down.

Edited to add: P.S. Copy and past links into your browser :)
