YAY - this I find very motivating and a real achievement - I'm on the right path now with MFP...
It's taken weeks for it to start moving, but finally it is...

GO ME! :)

    Can you give more details on what you mean when you say yours took weeks to start moving. What sort of eating and exercise were you doing? What if anything did you change?

    Hey Kiwi, (are you a Kiwi?? I am too!)
    Well I joined MFP and basically knocked my wine drinking on the head and upped my exercise.
    I didn't notice any results or any losses until the last week or two - where I have really tried to eat a variety of foods and stay within my cals. I've also upped my cardio - even if it's just a dog walk for half an hour or something...
    I find the ONLY way I can lose weight is to exercise and cut back hugely on the wine. I've always eaten fairly OK... so it's down to the exercise I reckon.
