Hey everyone! So my pasta-less, gluten free lasagna has been a hit with my family and friends so I figured I'd pass it on...
Ingredients
-4 large portabello mushroom caps, or sliced if you prefer
-1lb ground turkey or chicken
-1 large green bell pepper
-1 clove garlic
-1 red onion
-pasta sauce of your choice
-mozarella low fat cheese
How to:
brown turkey (or chicken), add green pepper, onion and garlic to soften
place a layer of ground turkey at the bottom of a casserole dish, layer cheese, mushrooms and sauce as desired
bake at 350 for 20 minutes!
Enjoy!

If it doesn't have lasagne noodles, doesn't it just make it a casserole? Nevertheless sounds awesome!0

No... a true casserole would require either a pasta item, or a potato item0 -

I like to use eggplant that has been purged, rinsed, squeezed and then used as my 'lasagna' noodle. Makes a WONDERFUL pasta-free lasagna!0 -
a great substitute for pasta,
is to oven back for about 1-2 minutes some mountain bread rye wraps,
and you can make your layers like a normal lasagne! tastes great, and keeps it a clean meal!
i prefer it over pasta, i come away from my meals feeling nice and light and most importantly full and satisfied! as i am a big eater, hehe.0
