Need friends to help motivate myself!

I am in dire need of friends from this community as we are all working towards the same goal. I have lost 2 pounds this week and have been trying to eat healthy but with a busy schedule I'm forced to eat somewhere quick. Please help me out. Thanks :)

  • I'm new on this site also. Currently trying to get back to my goal weight. For a nice 5 year span 2004-2009, I lost 90 lbs on the South beach Diet and learned a ton of great ways to survive on the SBD in a world designed around fast food and convenience. I havent followed my own advice the last 3 years. But I'm going to start now.

    So to answer your question, you can find healthy options almost anywhere. You have to get creative at times. So if your question is referring to "what do I eat at fast food places when I'm in a rush?" most places like Wendy's, McDonalds, have salads. Carls Jr. has a lettuce-wrap bruger, no bun. Taco Bell has taco salads (dont eat the shell). Etc. Your options are limited, but its worth the sacrifice.

    Mostly important- do not give up!!! Take it like a fun journey, not a hard responsobility and sacrafice! Challenges could be joifull if you only try to look on them differently :)

    Hi,
    I tend to avoid buying food on the hop and find the use of a small cool bag/box to keep food fresh. Fruit and water plentyful also. Other options are crackers and kraft light cheeses which I take to work most days.
    Have a look at the recipes here on mfp and food forums, there is loads of info available.
    I'm sure you will get plenty friends here with support needed.
