I might have my motivator??

OK, I might have the thing that will motivate me to stick to program. Maybe.

Today is my half birthday. I told myself that if I lose 30 pounds by my real birthday, I am going to rent an indoor soccer facility and have a soccer party. I miss playing soccer so much! (Last time I played, I tore my Achilles tendon, and I've been afraid to play since then because I'm afraid that I'll injure myself again . . . I know losing weight will not eliminate the chance of injury, but it will reduce it, right?)

The facility near my house says they do birthday parties for kids 13 and under . . . I wonder if they'd make an exception for me??

Annnyway, it's helped so far: 6:00 AM: I resisted the blueberry muffins my husband bought (grrr) and am having my whole grain toast w peanut butter and sliced banana for breakfast.

I saw your profile and you only have 35 pounds to lose. I would find other form of motivation. What happens when your birthday comes? Start back with old habits? Do it for long term healthy and being an example for your child.

    Good luck.

  • I agree with Top ^... find a motivation for long term and realize that you didn't gain the weight over night so it won't all come off that fast.
Good Luck! You can do it!

  • ummm . . . isn't being able to play soccer again long term? I mean, I'm not going to just play that one day and stop! lol
