Protein powders question.

Does anyone know of any protein powders (preferably unflavored) out there that have few to no additives? All of the ones I've found have at least a few vitamins and minerals added, and most of them have a lot. I don't really need all of that extra stuff, particularly all of the vitamin A and iron they put into them. Do they even make such a thing?

I've used this:

Just whey protein and soy lecithin, if you do dairy (I don't remember). Mixes well into kefir in a blender. I buy it on Amazon in bulk and keep the extra in the freezer until I use it. Beware of the sell by/use by date, that's why I found one really cheap on Amazon (I found out after I got it).0 -
For this, I'd be willing to use whey. A lot of places around here sell the Bob's Red Mill products, so I'll have to see if one of them has it. Thanks!0

I like protein powders that are not animal based - rice, hemp and pea protein are all great and are not nearly as processed. My favorite protein lately is PlantFusion (a mixture of pea, quinoa and amaranth proteins), but also Raw Meal by Garden of life. If you prefer a whey protein Jay Robb is awesome too.
Good luck!0 -
I am taking Shaklee protein powder.
They have two kinds, Energizing Soy and Cinch. Both are good, but Cinch tastes better, so I usually use the cinch. I like mixing it with plain yogurt.
Anyhow, their products have no artificial color, sweeter or preservatives. And it is made with Non-gmo soy. I love it.0 -
There are some hemp protein powders out there that are just hemp.
You can also look at using one of the sites where you can make your own and just make it whatever you like.
I think I used this site once:

It's good to know that exists, because I can't stomach Stevia.
Thanks to everyone for all the replies! This gives me a good list of options to look into.0 -
