My dear partners in crime,
I need advice... can you please check my profile&diary. I'm trying to eat clean, I'm not perfect, most of the time I want to eat all delicious stuff in my fridge, buut, I'm TRYING not to -.-
Anyway, I exercise every day and I really want to know what is the right amount of carbohydrates, fat & protein that I must intake everyday? I read articles about proteins, how they are muscle food, and I played with my fitness goals – nutrition goals, I changed amount of carbs, fat and protein on profile, and now I really need good soul who is familiar with that to check and tell me if I did it well because, there is too much proteins to eat...

    A lot of people set their Carb/Prot/Fat to 40 / 40 / 30.

Personally, when I'm eating clean (which is not now shhhh) I try to eat about 120 grams of protein, 45 grams of fat and the rest carbs.

Tell me about it. I have my carbs-protein-fat set to 40-30-30 and it's a lot of frikkin protein. Eat more chicken, beans, and tofu if you want to increase your protein.

Are you trying to eat 1 gram of protein for every pound you weigh? Or for your lean mass (your weight minus the fat)? Or a percentage?

It also depends on your fitness goals. What are you trying to do? How do you work out?

I was told that this was a good combo for weight loss
    Carbs 45%
    Fat 30%
    Protein 25%
  • I finished Turbofire, and now I'm on Chalean extreme, week 3. I decided to eat more proteins just because I know proteins are good for muscles, but recently I read some articles about proteins, how they can harm your body, then I started to panic, because I changed my nutrition goals by myself, without consultation with someone more experienced

This isn't rocket science.. so no need to get all in a tizzy.....

Let me solve the problem of what you read with this... Protein is good.. The end..

    Now .. Its simple..

Discipline.. Cake or carrot.. Which one is better for you ?

Apply that out in the field....

PS you have a beach body product read the nutrition guides.. while the meals are some times very impractical the how you eat is very helpful..

Sounds like you need to just remove the delicious things from your fridge!
