Frozen Food - Nutritional Info

Hey guys,
I have a bit of a stupid question. I bought some frozen chicken fillets and the packet has nutritional information on the back per 100g. Is the nutritional info provided for 100g of the chicken frozen or 100g of the chicken defrosted? Is there even a difference?
Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately it's not always clear. For example, some items in the MFP database specify raw or cooked, and some do not.
When I don't have a clear answer, I weigh meat cooked, just to be consistent, but sometimes there's no way to know for sure.0 -

I'm not sure. I always wonder this as well. However, instead of using the package, I simply weigh my thawed chicken and enter it into MFP using MFP's information.0 -
Thanks for the replies! I did a little experiment and weighed the chicken frozen and defrosted. There was only about a 5 gram difference so I think it's more or less the same.0

Thanks! That is good to know. I always wait for my chicken to be defrosted, now I won't have to.0 -

Thanks for that! I love the Costco Harvest Creek frozen chicken especially now that it has 50% less sodium and some of the breasts are bigger than others (nutritional value is based on 100g, or 1 average breast) which bugs me0
