Here's a tasty sugary snack that doesn't have too much sugar but will satisfy your cravings. My family would always go to disneyworld every year and in EPCOT at the Canada pavilion, there would be a snack called beaver tails but now they don't have it anymore. So my sisters and I came up with our own version. You can put it on toast, bagels, or how I like it, on a flour tortilla.

Cinnamon sugar toast recipe:
You will need
- bread if your choice
- butter
- cinnamon sugar OR plain cinnamon and granulated sugar

Directions:
Place the bread in the toaster. If you don't have cinnamon sugar then mix the plain cinnamon and granulated sugar in a small bowl until it is all mixed and the sugar is slightly brown ( I like to mix 1 tsp of sugar and just eyeball the cinnamon). When the bread is done toasting, put a small amount of butter on it and wait for it to melt. When the butter is melted, evenly distribute the cinnamon sugar on the toast and voila, your yummy snack is done. For a tortilla, just do the exact same thing but heat up the tortilla in the mirowave for 15 seconds or on the stove.

I've been craving cinnamon-sugar toast, but have almost completely cut out bread from my diet...but never thought of putting it on a tortilla. Thanks for the idea!

By the way, REAL beaver tail is, um, interesting. Greasy and very gamey.

That's been an old stand-by of mine since I was a kid. This and also adding either syrup or honey to peanut butter.

It's a lot better than porcupine. But nowhere near as tasty as seal. (I'm in Alaska, by the way.)

Yes, me, too. Been eating cinnamon toast since the beginning of time!! And peanut butter and honey premixed ready to use. Again, since the beginning of time. Also mix peanut butter with your favourite jam. At one time you could buy peanut butter and jam mixed in a jar, but homemade is so much better!!
