Has anyone seen a direct body fat % improvement after adjusting one's macronutrients % ratio? I haven't really tried to get that straight so far, just overall calories. I'm at desired weight now so I'm starting to pay more attention to macronutrients. I haven't been too successful so far but I'm trying to to do 35%p/30%f/35%c. I circuit train with free weights 50 min/3days and cardio 50min/3days. Has anyone had a similar regimen and found it was successful in lowering body fat%?

Why would you think that changing your macronutrients would reduce your body fat?

Eating more protein and fewer carbs will signal your body to turn your calories into muscle and burn fat instead of muscle for energy. So in that sense, yes, macronutrients effect weight loss and body fat percentage.

You should aim to eat your weight in grams of protein daily.

Search "body fat and macronutrient" in the message boards. You'll find a lot of topics on this. However, I haven't found any that mention a personal experience of changing the macronutrient ratio to lower their body fat.
