I hate it when...

I keep going over my calorie limit. I admit I get lazy during the day but most of the time I'm on top of my game. How do I efficiently stay under my calorie limit without under-eating or starving myself? Any and everyone's advice would be appreciated also.. Thanks : )

All I can think of is more protein and planning meals out. Usually when I plan out what I'm going to eat before hand, I do really well. If I just hang out and think "OK, I'll just eat when I'm hungry" I'm usually in trouble. Also, prepping stuff before hand is great too. I've got like 3 1 cup portions of cooked shredded chicken in my fridge. Good luck! Keep trying. :)

try not snacking as much or pre-plan food -i plan my food for the week (not portions just what i'm going to make) then you have a rough idea of what you can eat for the day - i also enter my lunch for the next day into my food diary which helps curb the "extras that i might add w/o thinking of it.

I feel so much better since I upped my protein more and eat a couple of small snacks during the day. Good Luck!

I plan my meals in advance. I also avoid pre-packaged foods as much as possible as they are tiny portions for a high calorie exchange. I go for huge vegetable based meals which really fill me up. I eat more now than before, but my calories are way lower.

Also drink tons of water...that always helps :)

When I found some easy subs for high calorie items (tortillas and cheese) and dropped things like rice and bread it's been pretty easy staying under.

READ YOUR DIARY. Where are you getting extra calories you can drop? We all have an Achilles heel. Once you get that down it will be easier.
