Hi! Ive been at this since Jan 9th. I got married on August 11th and back in January I made up my mind to look good on my wedding day. Well I originally wanted to lose 40lbs. That didnt happen. I only got down 26lbs but that is still awesome. I even got sick and took a break for an entire month between March and April.
Well, the wedding and my work schedule really made it difficult to work out the past few weeks and the "party-honeymoon time after the wedding" made me really lenient on my diet choices. Actually, I totally let myself go! Lol.
The past few days have consisted of me trying to get back into it with little success. Today was different though. I really am feeling the burn again. I want to get into the best shape of my life! I married my high school sweetheart, we have three children together and the last one just made a year in July. Its my time to get back into fitness and turn it into a lifestyle for my kids. I want to look great and be someone they're proud of. Im still young too! In my 20's and I dont want people to keep mistaking me for being in my 30's.
Looking at these pictures of me really showed me that i am progressing and that I can do it. I still have a solid 25lbs left to go...possibly more. Its not a huge difference, but I just like that I look less soft and more healthy. Especially my thighs.
Stats:
Height: 5ft 2inch
Started Jan 9th at 178lbs
Lost 26lbs by Aug 11th (152lbs)
First goal is 125lbs
I ultimately want to get down to 115lbs

After Pics
I can actually "hide" behind my 8 year old son!
Hope you found this motivational!! Happy eating and getting your sweat on!!! chubbyhulagirl

Congrats on your wedding! (marriage?) Wow you are one sexy mama, hahaha, great job! I'm also losing weight to look good on my wedding day. I'd love to hear how you resist comfort eating coz i am applying for a marriage visa in UK and it is stressing us big time because of all the red tapes0

Thank you! Yes, I just got married two weeks ago!
I have a hard time with the food choices. I enjoy working out and I love all food. The healthy foods and the not healthy foods. Portion control is super difficult. Im still working on it and everyday is a challenge but seeing the weight come off makes it easier.
Congratulations on your engagement! I bet it must be so stressful! Keep going and make time to de-stress! Try walking often!
Also, to satisfy comfort food cravings I will make a vegetable soup or a thai curry filled with veggies (no meat).0 -

YOW! Your wedding photos are spectacular! Your dress turned out so beautiful and you looked fantastic in it! I can't believe how different you look already. Your face looks so much younger you really do look like you're in your twenties and certainly not 30!
Congratulations on your new beginnings and your committment to a fitter, healthier, and younger you!
We all believe in you!0 -

Thanks so much for your encouraging words. I was worried only I could see a difference! Lol. I was so happy on my wedding and grateful that i actually stuck it out and made the lifestyle change. Although I still feel "fat." I have hardly any pics showing my body, even on my wedding day! Im still really self conscious and I dont know if that will ever go away...0
