Whats your BodyFat % goal? What are you currently at?

I'm currently sitting at 9% and I'd like to be around 7%...I know it takes time when you get closer and closer to the goal...The most i was was 12% when I was playing college ball...But that was due to the extremely poor diet of on campus dining.

    Currently 12-13. Short term goal 16-17. Long term 8.

    PS someone talking about being at 12% due to poor diet is kinda dumb. 12% is pretty good for a man.

    Well based off of my frame. Hey, I just have some high expectations for myself, one of my good friends just landed his first spread in a fitness magazine, and I want to see if I can reach his level.

    A few different ways, you but a electronic hand held tester. You have a certified trainer test you with calipers...With all of these tests I would say the subjectivity could be 2%-5% either way.

    last measurments were b/t 17-19% looking to get around 13-15% but i'm also playing it by sight - when i get where i want, i'll see where i am lol.

    My goal is 15%. I last had mine tested 2 months ago and was at 18.3%. I know I'm lower than that now, but not 15% yet...

  • Unless I am mistaken anything under 11% is the same as an pro athlete, why would you want to get to 7%? Way too low for someone to be!

    I'm kinda sad. Using the waist measurement calculation, 37%. Been working out/eating healthy now for almost six weeks, and I swear my belly hasn't shrunk at all. And here I was just celebrating being a healthy BMI (126, compared to 130 being my normal limit). Sigh.

  • My BodyFat% was 22%, my goal is 11 = 12%. I'm currently at 13%. Anything below 11% is overkill unless you are a collegiate or professional athlete... Bodyfat % too low can be unhealthy and may lead to health problems.

    When are you doing it? it's like a scale depending upon when you do, how hydrated you are, if you just worked out, yadda yadda, it fluxuates massively. If i do mine just before my afternoon workout (when i'm hydrated, have eaten but clean eating & haven't done any lifting yet) mine reads around 17-19; if i do it in the am, before i workout - before i've hydrated at all or eaten at all, it's been upwards of 24 before... just a fyi
