    You have 16 weeks to dedicate this goal. However, there is also halloween, Thanksgiving and December holidays that are accompanied by evil parties.

    IMO 1200 is low, unless you eat like a bird to begin with and have a higher weight due to the type of food you eat and low exercise.

    I would suggest your calorie intake with quality protein and nutrient dense produce, and eliminate simple carbs all together. Allow "treats" in moderation occasionaly. (but not as a reward system)
    But, keep in mind, this is just my suggestion.

    You would need to lose 2.5 lbs a week (or average out .3 lbs a day) I would suggest checking this out;
    http://www.freedieting.com/tools/calorie_calculator.htm So that you reach your weekly goal, but can still arrange your recreational life with your diet.

    If you eat 1200 cals a day, and burn 500 of them, you should instead consume 1700 cals. to keep your body from revolting on you.

    I have been losing 1 pound per week (and that is what the site recommends.) But, everyone is different and as long as you are doing it in a healthy way, 2 could be feasible. I believe 1-2 pounds is considered healthy weekly weight loss.

    And wow, we have 16 weeks left (maybe more like 17 or 18) if you start tomorrow. I miscalculated before and thought we had 5 months left, lol. 16 X 2lb = 32 pound weight loss.

    The site pretty much figures out how many calories you need to eat per day based on your desired weight. I would just try to stay around that calorie goal each day. Log your exercises and all your foods. Aim to be at or maybe slightly below that desired goal.

    It is possible, but I would aim for 160 by the end of the year. Eat clean and smart. Not just carbs but carbs that will support your health, ie whole grains, raw veggies, fruits not fruit juices, lots of lean protein. And on top of that, exercise, exercise, exercise. It is hard work, but if you put your mind to it, you can do it! Good luck!!
