I am a 29 year old female, 5ft 3, currently weighing in at 316 lbs..I work part time in a local restaurant and am on my feet from 10am-2pm and then after that it is normal day to day stuff, kids, housework etc..
I have just finished watching the hairy dieters and realised that they were on something like 1300 cals but whenever i input my data into the calcuator it says I should be on 1800 but ideally would like quick resutls with maybe a 3lb loss a week if not more..can anyone tell me whats the lowest I could eat but still loose..Thanks

.5 to 2 lbs a week is healthy weight loss. Occasionally losing 3 or more isn't bad especially after a week of no lose but to try for that much every week is unhealthy. For my height and weight I'm at 1300 calories per day and lose on average 1.8 pounds a week. When I tried to go below 1300 I didn't lose any weight. I started with MFP in feb but wasn't really losing much. Dr went over my meds and took me off one that is known to cause weight gain. After that I started to lose at a steady pace.0

Since you are far from you goal, you could conceivably maintain a large calorie deficit (1200) and not risk muscle loss. BUT will you stick with that low of a calorie level? 1800 will certainly be easily and more sustainable in the long run.0

Bad Idea..............
You didn't gain it that fast you certainly shouldn't try to lose it..
You will just get hungry and Sabotage your efforts..
You heard the saying "Do it right the first time" Well you didn't and the majority of us are here for the same reason .. So lets do it right THIS time.....
Lets start with the obvious .. Cut the junk from your life, and commit to changing your life.. There is only one way to do this and thats a combination of the right food choices and exercise.. If you really want this, you will stop looking for the quick fixes that don't really work and start to change your mind set and learn how to be a better you... She is already in you wanting to get out..
So if you want to let the real you out, its time to start today!0 -
Thank you for the replies.. I think i'll stick with the 1800 cals and try to make better choices and log everyday, whether its good or bad!0
