Advice for a Serious Life Decision

So I am currently going into my fourth year of a Law LLB degree (the law degree needed to become a practising solicitor in the UK) however, before I qualify I need to pay for an un-funded postgraduate degree and do two years paid training.

Throughout my studies I have became interested in the financial side of things - law of banking and finance, tax, international trade etc and I am now wondering whether I should go into law or banking, particularly investment banking/m&a's/ corporate banking/international finance etc.

Anyone have any advice? Perhaps someone works in legal or banking and can give me any insight?

If you like it, do it. That's the best job to have -- the one you enjoy doing. Life is too short to do crap you don't wanna do.
  • go for your passion, you will never regret it.

if you're passionate about something your more then likely going to put your all into it to succeed.

Simple yet the best advice to give. I've finally come to this conclusion and am now going to be spending the next 10 years becoming my dream job - a Vet.
