Maybe I missed a post about this. Or maybe I am looking it up wrong. But why is Zumba not in the exercise database?

Using a HRM is the most accurate way to know how many calories you are burning. I guess MFP is behind on the the times.....Zumba has certain overcome Aerobics by leaps and bounds! GO ZUMBA!0

What I do is use zumbacalories.com and then once you log it, it will "learn" your burn and calculale your different times like a 60 min. workout vs a 90 min. workout, ect.
edit to add : Sara - you beat me to the punch.
also to add that I wear my fit bit and it tells me exactly what I burned. :drinker:0 -
It was when I added it recently.0

I've tried zumbacalories.com and sorry ladies but it's off by at least 100 calories! The most accurate way to know is using a Heart Rate Monitor...everyone's body is different therefore they all perform and burn somewhat differently. I am kind of disappointed that Zumba has been left out on mfp though....not cool! Zumba 4 Life0
