I need some advice..I work 7 on 7 off and I am struggling to maintain an eating schedule when I work. I come in at 12, which I usually hungry, then I get off at 9:30 and by then I am starving! The cafeteria closes early and all we have is a vending machine close by, however I do bring snacks..Any ideas, suggestions about eating ideas? I appreciate anything I can get. On my week off I do fine...

Pack yourself a real dinner to eat at work. You can buy an insulated lunch box and put an ice pack in with it.0

Or get a food genie to keep the food warm!0

Ha! I've been stuggling with the same problem. There is no real easy solution. It takes planning before hand. I ususally make sure I eat properly before work then plan on eating every 3 hours or so of work. I use Pure Protein brand protein bars for snacks, or Bear Naked brand granola. For a lunch I get the large sized pre packaged tuna pouches. They have a variety of flavors if the plain tuna is no good. I also got some plain oatmeal put it in a mug with milk for a minute. Healthy lean protein and complex carbs. I have co workers that buy a bunch of salmon and such over the weekend and prepare enough to bring to work for the whole week. If you just need some snacks that you can eat quickly the protein bars are good and fit in your pockets. Just make sure you read the labels and ALL the ingredients...GOOD LUCK!!0

I normally travel for work which entails a flight out of town earlier than 6am on Monday and getting home about 2 in the morning on Friday. A typical day would be about 10 or more hours in a client's office. I would always eat breakfast at the hotel after using the gym and then stash in my laptop bag a banana, apple, bar, etc. from the hotel so that I would have a morning snack. When I grabbed lunch at the cafeteria I would pick up something else for the afternoon snack as well, be it fruit or bananas.
It is possible if you plan it out. On some trips I would stop at a local grocery to get some protein bars or something similar for snacks to have with me as well and sometimes carry some with me catching my flights. It bites when you get to an airport at 11pm for a layover and all the restaurants and shops are closed .
Thankfully my current client is allowing me to work remote which is allowing me to go full steam ahead with my first round of Insanity.0
