What to list Just Dance as?

I use the video game Just Dance to work out. I've been listing it as "modern dance" but it seems to burn almost no calories, even though I start sweating after the first song. Am I listing it right?

You can add your own exercise and give it what you think it might burn.0

make sure if you do this that you have heart rate monitor otherwise it will not be accurate0 -
If you have a HRM you can create your own workout for that. That's what I do for almost every workout I do0

Yeah, I was just going to say - heart rate is the only way to know. Get yourself a monitor. Or you know, every few minutes take your pulse (I do it at the neck) for six seconds. Multiply that number by 10. That's your heart rate. Take it several times throughout the workout, calculate the average. Then go find yourself a "calories burned based on heart rate" calculator. There you go.0

I personnaly would put it in "aerobics, general". I wouldn't worry about the difference of a couple of calories. If you sweat, your heart beat get faster and you're exhausted afterwards, for me, that's aerobics training.0

Hey!
I've been super confused about that too - just dance 4 is coming out super soon and it lets you record actual calories burnt, so it'll be easier.
But, as to your question, here's what I've worked out:
In just dance three, 3000 sweat points is equal to 30 minutes swimming laps. So what I do is I log my exercise time under swimming laps - if I have 3000 sweat points it's equal to 30 minutes. 1256 points? 12.5 minutes. For 3253, it would be 32.5 minutes.
Hope that helps!0
