How do you fix it?My left arm is bigger then my right arm -_-

Would doing extra sets for the weaker arm be helpful in anyway?

Put down the dumbbells and pick up a barbell?

    ??????

    I answered the Q!
    Its a simple fix!

If OP started doing powerlifting with compound movements, the body will naturally compensate and address any imbalances.
If OP kept picking up dumbbells incorrectly....hence the issue....NVM...

    um no ^
and just letting you know, compound movements can be done with a dumbbell

    how significant is the imbalance.

I've heard dumbbells were better to fix imbalances. You can "cheat" with the strong side on barbells. Start with the weak arm. Do as many reps as you can (6-8, if you can do more reps, try heavier weight). Do the same amount of reps on your strong arm.

I'm right handed but my left arm is slightly stronger from holding kids for 6 years.

So you are saying that using a barbell doing compound lifts cannot fix the imbalance?

    Hmmm!
    Learned something new today.
Looks like barbell isn't the way to go once you have the imbalance.

    Regarding Bb v DB

Recently started training a woman friend and started with bb for chest press, handled 25 kilograms. Switch to two 12.5k DB,s, same weight but left side significantly weaker but worse than that there is a dull pain from the left shoulder indicating a rotator cuff weakness, dropped DB,s to 7.5k and reps evenly achieved and without shoulder discomfort.

Right hand dominance on bb wouldn't be addressed if DB weren't used. Solution is to now work with only DB until there is a match between left and right. Means fail on weak side and dominant side gets a free pass for a month or two.

This will apply to all exercises.

For arms, biceps I would do strict isolation of bicep using DB and back against a wall. Tricep during correction process, DB tricep bench press and strict form DB overhead extension.

What you do not do is exercise the weak side more,
