Calorie Count

Today in my first day on MFP. I am really happy with what I've eaten/done today. I did 30 minutes of cardio, a little bit of core strength stuff, took a once a day women vitamin, I ate regularly and I was never really hungry (now I'm stuffed) but my calorie counter still says I'm 500 calories short (goal- 1320 +exercise + 357 - food - 1094 = net 583). Blah! What do i do! I don't want to eat anymore because I'm not hungry but apparently I need it.

    You should try to take in at least 1200 calories everyday. But I don't think it is huge deal if it happens here and there. I know you get the message that you need to eat more or you will put you body in starving mode but it will not happen that quickly.
  • Oh good, thanks. I met the recommended amount of protein... But I think I'll be good today you are right, I'll be sure to eat 1200 tomorrow.

    If it keeps happening, try switching some of your low fat and fat free items (skim milk) to some of the regular items (2% milk).
