lean cuisne do you lose?

I've been busy and started eating lean cuisine..because it is easy and they taste good. I add vegetables to them. I wonder if anyone has had success eating them.

I eat them bc I dont like to leave for lunch. I wont say that they have helped me lose weight but they have helped me make better choices during the day. Like- its really hard to justify going to Taco Bell or even Subway when I know I have them in the freezer and I know that they are fewer calories than those options. I will sometimes add a salad or veggies to them.

Once in awhile they are OK........ but be careful because of all the sodium in them :-(

I eat them bc they are convenient...when I was on WW its what I ate and I did lose weight....just drink more water to account for sodium...would be my suggestion...........

You lose weight by eating in a calorie deficit. This means I can eat Twinkies with a side of vegetables all day and as long as I am in a calorie deficit, I will likely lose weight. Will I be healthy? No. Now, I am not saying Lean Cuisines are as junky as Twinkies but they certainly aren't health food. Use them sparingly and not daily. Eat real food instead.

I think I will drink more water and take a potassium supplement ... I do like them..but don't want to kid myself if they don't result in weight loss..so thanks for the feedback.

When I first started MFP I ate nothing but Lean Cuisine and Healthy Choice meals for my lunches Monday-Friday and I steadily lost 1-2 pounds a week as I lost the first 30 pounds of my 40 pound loss. And this was before I even started exercising at all.

Is it the healthiest option? Probably not. Will you lose weight as long as you're maintaining a caloric deficit with those meals included? Yes.
