Upping calories

http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/654536-in-place-of-a-road-map-2-0-revised-7-2-12

I am going to follow that guide and eating 1958 calories instead of my normal 1600
Does anyone have experience with upping their calories?
Will I put on some inital weight?
(My weight loss has stalled that is why I am upping calories)
5'8 145lb

Sorry, just saw this. You may gain a little in the first week or two (water weight) but you will begin to drop after that. If you're interested, there is a group that is for people following the road map and everyone is welcome to join. It lets you ask questions like these of people who have been doing the road map for a while. I began 46 days ago. The name of the group is In Place of A Road Map. Come and join! You'll get the support and information to make this an easy transition. Plus you can talk to people who are successful at losing! Good luck! Jan

After 6 months I lost 25 lbs and I hit my goal weight so I upped my calories as well. Then about 8 months after that I gained 5 lbs. Not bad.

I lowered it back down to lose that 5 lbs again and then up it back up slightly lower than before. With some slight tuning I should be able to find the perfect balance to maintain my weight.
