Weighing Myself Question...

Good Afternoon MFP,

I am fairly new here and have a question regarding weigh ins.


I have been competeing in a Biggest Loser Challenge and have been doing very well. The final weigh in will be this saturday morning. The challenge has been at my Zumba class, there is one at 9:00am on Saturday morning and I was wondering is it better to weigh in pre class or after.

I think this will make a difference in where I place...I had been placing in 2nd and 3rd. I have lost a total of 23lbs since I started the challenge....I would like to loose a total of 25 cause that will mean I'll have lost 10% of my body fat and hopefully increase my chances.

I keep hearing its better to do it pre-workout. What do you think? Enlighten me please! :)

So any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • For some reason I've found that I weigh less after my sweaty gym workout then before. I'm guessing it's the sweating that makes the difference even though I drink 24oz of water while I'm there.
