Hello
So Im hoping to try out new foods, I know this sounds crazy but Ive never eaten pasta before.

But there seems to be so much stuff out there.
dry pasta, fresh pasta, wholewheat pasta? (is there such a thing?)

What sort of pasta should I be buying
and what sort of pasta should i be avoiding?

Thanks

Anything that says refined on it.. Like the white flour, white rice, all refined stuff. Stick to whole grains if you like pasta. Whole wheat might be a better option than the white regular ones. :)

In my opinion fresh pasta tastes the best, however it doesn't store for very long. The fresh stuff depends on when you plan to consume it.

I don't eat a lot of pasta, but when I do I tend to stick with the organic whole grain high fiber kinds. One brand I get is Delallo 100% organic Penne Rigate no. 36. It has 6 grams of fiber and 6 grams of protein.

I'm not much of a pasta fan but I think polenta is a great substitute for Italian recipes.
