Hey all I've been reading about intermittent fasting and more specifically the 5:2 method which means two days you eat 500-800 calories and the other five days are normal. I was curious if on fasting days there is a better workout to do. Like should I be lifting on fasting days or doing cardio? Thanks in advance for input

I am not lifting yet, so this answer will probably not help you,; but I do low impact cardio (typically elliptical). I am sure that some Leangains people on this board will have an answer for your on their opinion though.0

I am following the Leangains 16/8 feeding window and I lift "fasted" with maybe some light cardio afterwards....keeping my heart rate on the lower fat burning side rather than doing HIIT. On the weekends I do not follow the 16/8 and that is when I will do more of the higher intensity cardio. Hope this helped0

I work out on my fast days but ensure I eat my calories.
On my fast day I may do Tae Bo for 30 mins 377 calories burnt + 977 calories consumed = 600 calories.
This is my 3rd week, I lost 2 lbs the first week and 1 lb the 2nd.0
