uh oh

is this SO bad?

honestly, i dont really care, if i want a salad, ill order a salad, but WHY is this such a big deal?

you know you hear about this a lot about how the guy gets disappointed if she orders a salad...

guys, what are your thoughts on this?!:)

    A woman who orders a salad is just fine. As long as it is followed up with a T-Bone.

    You should be worried if the guy orders "just a salad".

    whats wrong with eating salad??? I'd do the same thing it's healthy and delicious as well.. so what didnt go and order a big fat piece of steak or burger n chips... its about what what you want to eat

    i've ordered a salad before so i wouldn't judge, and if she has a problem with my diet she should just get to know me, there are plenty more offensive aspects to my personality.

    I can honestly say that in my dating days, this never happened to me. But if it did, I would have hoped she ordered a big salad so that she wouldn't be finished eating before me.

    Really? Men care about this? Maybe in the UK it is different. The woman orders a salad and the man thinks this is a good thing. Salad means he pays less than if she had the steak LOL :drinker:

    I don't think guys would really care but if they see you ordering the salad because you're really health conscious than I think they'll be disappointed, most guys like a girl who is care free, easy going and likes to have a good time imo.

    to me it would be like, if they cant let go for dinner out every now and then, will they relax ever? --but if she has been talking about some huge chicken salad all day, then it wouldnt be so bad.

    I noticed that ordering salad or saying "I'll have whatever you have" is a sign that she may not be comfortable eating or maybe very young. I am a "reformed" Foodie, so I think it is sexy when my date knows what she wants and orders something exotic. This shows that she is cultured, refined, well traveled. Bonus points for knowing how to pair wine with their food!
