Hang in there. It might just be muscle. Figure out your inches. I bet you are losing. Keep your head up!
  • How many hours sleep are you getting? I just posted a topic about that, I think my ~3 hours a night is the reason for my being stuck. If you're getting to sleep around 12, and are up at 5, maybe that's not enough for you. Just a thought :)

It can be really frustrating in the beginning. We want to see results right now g-d damn it!! Are you tracking your food? Maybe you would consider logging your food and exercise for the next 5 weeks and see what happens. If you are willing to open up your diaries, people could make some suggestions.

You can do this. Take a deep breath.

You are welcome to add me as a friend if you like
  • Don't let this discourage you!
Scales are weird. I know that I am losing weight but I get a different reading almost everyday so I try not to worry about it too much (sometimes a scale will tell me I've gained like 10 pounds then It will be normal the next day, talk about freak out time!).
It can depend on the time of day, if you've eaten or drank anything, added muscle mass (a scale won't tell you this), etc.

Keep doing what you're doing and maybe leave the scale alone for a few days and see what it says later.

If you are exercising harder than usual your muscles will hold on to water to repair themselves. I gain 4 lbs after a long bike ride which was very frustrating until l understood this

i say don't weigh yourself until you've finished the 30 days. and take before (or during) and after pics. you will see a difference. the number on the scales does not mean much. i know a few people who never lost any weight doing JM, but their whole body shape changed. and they were soooo much fitter.
