    Hi, just signed up and saw your post about going back to maintenance calories. I am 15 pounds away from my goal and plateaued 6 weeks ago and the scale has not moved (bodyfat % not changing). Tried everything but going back to maintenance... can you tell me how long you after you added calories that you began losing again and did you gain before you lost? I'm thinking this is the only thing that will work for me... can't drop calories any lower (1200) and doing lots of cardio - 5 times per week...

    Thanks for any advice you could give

    Thanks, great thread - I have NOT been eating my exercise calories back - this could be the problem - putting me below BMR ???. Thankfully, I haven't lost any lean body mass (if my scale is right) and I do strength train a couple of times a week.

    All I can say is that I feel your pain. I've been on a plateau since February.
