Anyone in NY hiked the Adirondack 46?

If you have, did you use a book/guide to help you, and if so, which book was it or do you have any suggestions for any good guidebooks?

My boyfriend and I would like to try to accomplish this, and would love any helpful information you might have.

    Thanks for the link :) I briefly saw that page when I was searching through google, but didn't see they had a book too.

    I found one on Amazon called Adirondack Hiking Guide: High Peaks Region that looks pretty good too. :)
