Ok so i have lost a total of 35kgs in almost 12 months, the hard way eating well and busting my *kitten*....last weekend i had a cheat meal turn into an entire cheat weekend, monday rolled around and i went straight back to eating well and planned to workout hard to combat the weekend i had but injured my lower back playing with my daughter and i have been couch bound all week...i reduced my calories from 1500 to 1200 a day to combat the no exercise and although it is that time of month surely 3 kgs in 7 days is just not possible???? pleease tell me it isn't!!!

I don't know how much weight 3.2 kg is but I do know that between sodium and aunt flow, you can gain anywhere between 5 to 7 pounds just in water weight!

I have put on close to that just from my period before. And I'm not an expert but if your cheat meals included a lot of salt maybe you are holding even more water weight? Tryyy not to stress, it should fall off in the next week or so. :)

I'm having the same thing but opposite. A cheat day turned into a cheat week and I lost 5 pounds. I'm confused as heck.

3.2 kg are roughly 7 lb.

It's probably a combo of time of the month and water retention from diet change? I can gain up to a huge 9lbs from my period alone.
@Listlife, sometimes the metabolism shock does you good. (I had a 2700 calorie day last week to try out the metabolism shock theory, and went slightly over my 1900 a couple of times as well and lost over a pound that week, and I'm close to goal) Either that or you needed to up your intake anyway?

yeah I'm assuming it's a metabolism shock. Like my settings were lightly active and losing 1.5 pounds a week and I had 1480 cals a day. If i go over usually it's only by 100 but this weeks I've gone over by 300-500 cals for several days in a row.

I just changed my settings from losing 1.5 to only losing 1 pound a week, so if this weight loss continues at this rate, I'll have to attribute it to upping intake.

And to the original poster, it could honestly be from your time of the month. When I was on orth tri-cyclen lo, I never weighed myself during the sugar pill week because I would bloat up and be 3-4 pounds heavier that week, but when i started a new pack, I'd be back down to normal.
